Michael Walker writes:
My mother Linda Gayle Walker would not go and get the proper testing to determine her condition because of lack of money and insurance. My father often guilted her about this, that it would cost too much, well after an infection reached her heart, emergency surgery was required costing hundreds of thousands. Early detection and proper antibiotics would have saved her life, one for which in my opinion had no price tag. Money should never stop someone from recieving care that will prolong/save their life. Her love for me had no price tag, I only wish price wasn't the reason she died, so senseless. I continue to love my mother even though I can't see, touch or talk to her as I loved to do. I want people to know her name, because I knew her heart and she will forever remain in mine.
