Names of the Dead

Geoff was my younger brother. He and I cared deeply for one another but we were always at odds about one thing or another. We were even at odds about the health care bill. I was for it he was against. A couple of weeks before his passing he had come to me and told me that he had heard Dennis Kucinich talk about single payer health care and he could get on board with something like that. My brother had gone to the doctor earlier that week to complain of shortness of breath and back pain. It turned out that because of a job switch he had no insurance so he used his wife's. So the doctor after examining him wanted to do more tests. The insurance refused him based on pre-existing condition( my brother had had back problems in the past) After the visit he chose not to go any further since he and his wife were already very much in debt. On September 27,2009 my brother died at the age of 38. He died because the main artery to his heart was almost 100% blocked, something I am told that would have been discovered with a physical. Please Congressman Grayson fight for my brother and people like him please.
