Tom had a double bypass at the age of 36. After our divorce, he was no longer insured. He had his own business, doing roofing and insulation. So no health insurance. Unfortunately, he died unexpectedly, due to his heart disease, 20 yrs after the CABG. He left behind two adult children and two beautiful little grandchildren. His little grandson was only 3 when Tom died. His grandson had a difficult time understanding what had happened. He wondered where his "gampa" was on the day of the funeral. What a horrible, sad waste!
