This was several years ago but my grandma, the dearest person in the world to me, didn't feel well for a long time. She didn't tell anyone and put off going to the doctor because her deductible was so high. By the time we realized how sick she was and convinced her to seek help, the breast cancer had spread to her lungs and liver. She passed away just a few months after diagnosis. Seeing her suffer was the most horrible thing I've ever been through.
