Carol "Hut" Marie Geddes January 3, 1969 - September 15, 2009. Carol unexpectedly passed away from cancer at the age of 40 in Santa Rosa, CA. Carol was born January 3, 1969 in Garden Grove, CA to Lawrence and Cynthia (Knizley) Geddes. Carol died because she was a member of the new working poor who simply could not afford medical insurance. She and her husband both were gainfully employed and contributing to society positively. 20 years ago they would have been able to afford a house, cars, etc.. but in today's economy they struggled just to pay rent on an apartment. Basic medical insurance that would have enabled Carol to go to regular OB/GYN appointments would have saved her life. Her death was a preventable tragedy and we miss her.
