My Friend passed from renal failure caused by pancreatitus, she had repeated bouts of it and no medical insurance. The medical care she did receive never diagnosed a cause or prescribed a treatment for it (not that she had enough money to purchase the med's they did prescribe). Every day I watched her in more and more pain till she finally was taken (unconscious) to the emergency room where she died.
