Names of the Dead

Billy was a hardworking talented Directional Driller in the Oil Business. After working for some of the major names in the industry and being laid off whenever the oil business would take a drop, he decided to go to work for himself. He was successful, but could not buy health insurance, because of a history of something ( high blood pressure or something). Billy worked hard and always paid his bills. The Oil Business took a serious drop last year and he had not worked for months. Sometime around January, 2009 he started showing all the signs of heart failure ( swelling and fatigue). In spite of his Family's begging, he would not go to the Doctor, because he didn't have insurance and he kept thinking he could "work through it". Instead of getting medicine and possibly surgery that could have returned him to health he tried to tough it out and not run up bills he couldn't pay. He went to bed one night this summer and did not wake up. This left his family and friends devastated. A good hard working, tax paying, man with plenty of years left is gone because of our health care system.
