My dad couldn't afford to go to the doctor. He worked just 30 to 36 hours a week. Just few enough hours so the company he worked for did not have to offer him benefits. He had a massive heart attack at work. If he would have been able to go to the doctor, they would have found out that his heart was in bad shape. Maybe this could have been prevented, maybe he could have been with us longer and seen his grand kids grow up. If he would have had decent health insurance he would have gone to the doctor and at least he would have had a chance.
